University of South Alabama: USA Bands Winter Concert at Laidlaw

The USA Wind Ensemble and Symphony Band will combine forces for a joint Winter Band Concert on Monday, February 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The USA Wind Ensemble is conducted by Dr. William H. Petersen, and Dr. Robert D. Abend conducts the USA Symphony Band.  Amongst the works performed by the Symphony Band will be "Howls and Hymns" by Viet Cuong (featuring trombone soloist Dr. Arie VandeWaa), as well as "Overture for Winds" by Charles Carter while the Win
